StartXXL removal:

If you won't use StartXXL anymore, you have to uninstall the StartXXL Add-on for Firefox, if it was installed before. You can do this in the Firefox menu Tools -> Add-ons. After that, you have to restart Firefox. Now you can change the value of the homepage in the regular Firefox settings.
